Defenses slugged it out, but Flint Hills Resources beat Blue Loon 2 - zero at DIPPER on Sunday. Flint Hills Resources racked up one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Flint Hills Resources added one unanswered goal in the second period and held on to its lead. Blue Loon were not able to answer back. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Flint Hills Resources conserved its lead, and was the winner.

Blue Loon finished the game with a record of 8-7.
