Defenses slugged it out, but Wentz overcame Home Town PT 2 - 1 at DIPPER on Saturday. Wentz and Home Town PT both scored one goal to end the first period tied. Neither team scored in the second period so they continued to be tied. The second period closed with both teams at one goal all. Wentz took the lead in the third period with one goal and won the game.

Diedri Scharf and Kathleen Thompson each contributed one goal for Wentz. Ranstead contributed one assist for Wentz.

Sharon Hansen added one goal for Home Town PT.

Wentz ended up with a record of 13-7. Home Town PT ended the game with a record of 9-8.
