In a tight contest, Wentz won against Sportsmedicine 8 - 6 at DIPPER on Sunday. Wentz outscored Sportsmedicine four to one to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. In the second, Wentz scored two goals to Sportsmedicine's one and kept the lead. In the third period Sportsmedicine outscored Wentz 4 to 2 however Wentz kept its lead, and won the game.

Leading the scoring for Wentz, Cheryl Dow got the hat trick with three goals as well as two assists. Leading the way to a win for Wentz, Breanna St.Amand netted the hat trick with three goals and also had one assist. Kathleen Thompson and Audrey Ranstead each contributed one goal for Wentz.

Wentz continued their current win streak of two games and now has a record of 14-7. Sportsmedicine finished the game with a record of 9-12.
